Corbett Tiger Reserve Again Open For Tourists, These Are New Rules
After a gap of about two and a half months, the popular range of Corbett Tiger Reserve including Bijrani, Dhela, and Jhirna was opened to tourists on Saturday.
The Corbett Tiger Reserve was closed to tourists in March following the lockdown implemented in the wake of the Kovid-19 epidemic.
However, Dhikala zone has not been opened for tourists as it is usually closed from 15 June during the monsoon.
Corbett Deputy Director Kalyani Negi said that following the social distance guidelines, the number of people in the vehicle going for animal safari has been reduced from six to four including the driver.
Generally, 60 such vehicles with six passengers each were allowed to go for day and night safari.
